China News Service, Fujian, December 2 (Guo Long) — The 2024 Maritime Silk Road Quanzhou Digital Cultural and Creative Week was officially launched, with a project cooperation signing ceremony. Fourteen cultural, commercial, and tourism projects were introduced in Quanzhou, contributing to the high-quality development of the city's cultural and tourism economy.
At the event, the Quanzhou Cultural Tourism Integration and Cultural Creative Association signed agreements with the Japan-China Animation and Game Industry Association, the Korea Cultural Content Licensing Association, and the Hong Kong Mainland Brand Development Promotion Association, marking the beginning of strategic cooperation between cultural creative associations from cities along the Maritime Silk Road. This signing not only strengthens cultural exchange and cooperation among cities along the Maritime Silk Road but also injects new vitality into the high-quality development of Quanzhou's cultural and tourism industries, marking a milestone.
Following this, a signing ceremony for Quanzhou's IP cultural creative investment projects was held, with 10 projects signed on site. The series of high-quality cultural and tourism projects collectively contribute to building a more vibrant landscape for Quanzhou's cultural and tourism economy.
In addition, a digital cultural copyright licensing signing ceremony was held, with the Quanzhou Ancient City Company, the Licheng District Propaganda Department, and Fujian Yuan Zhi Universe Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., along with masters of arts and crafts such as Lu Sili, Chen Lide, Shi Junxian, Chen Mingliang, Huang Lifeng, and Qiu Ruikun, signing agreements to establish an IP copyright platform. This platform aims to attract national, provincial, and municipal-level masters, as well as young creators, university students, and faculty, connecting copyright creators with demanders. Using big data for precise promotion, it will match copyright transactions, creating a service platform for the promotion of creators' works, copyright transactions, and the enhancement of commercial value. At the same time, a cultural creative mall will be established, focusing on the sale of derivative cultural creative products and conducting secondary creation around the Quanzhou Licheng Ancient City IP, developing and promoting a series of related cultural products.
A 2025 Quanzhou Ancient City "Colorful Zayton Snake" naming and licensing cooperation signing ceremony was also held on site. Multiple parties joined hands to carry out project-based cooperation around the Ancient City Snake Year IP, developing various derivative products, promoting the development of Quanzhou's cultural creative industries, and helping partners enhance brand recognition and market influence.
